Group therapy session for women and girl’s returnee at Nineveh plain

Baghdad Women Association’s team at Listening and Counselling Center at Qaraqush started implementing the activity of group therapy session within the project ” Enhancing the strength and resilience of women and girls in conflict-affected communities and host communities in the Nineveh Plain – Iraq” supported by  LWF on 12^th March 2019. The session started by giving a quick review of the Association and the services given by the center for women. Then getting acquainted with the participants and setting the session rules and dividing the participants to two groups to start the session which included breaking the ice exercise and enhancing communication between the participants and each one wrote her name with a sign that expresses her and making space for each participant to express herself and share her life story.
