The staff of Baghdad Women Association participated in a training organized by CARE International in Iraq

The staff of Baghdad Women Association participated in a training organized by CARE International in Iraq. The training focused on empowering change and included strategic advocacy, comprehensive planning, monitoring and evaluation. It was part of a project “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements on the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda in three fragile contexts” implemented by Baghdad Women Association in partnership with CARE International in Iraq and with funding support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. The training was held in Dohuk Governorate from September 3rd to September 7th, 2023. The general goal of training is to empower participants with the skills and knowledge to implement effective advocacy campaigns to achieve specific objectives by increasing awareness and community participation and enhancing the ability to influence and change important issues.
