Training Workshop

The Baghdad Women Association implemented a training workshop  on writing humanitarian and development projects in Anbar/ Fallujah for three days in July 2023 for the six targeted organizations within the project “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements on the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda in three fragile contexts” in partnership with CARE International in Iraq and with funding support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. With the participation of 14 representatives of the women’s rights organizations. The main objective of the provided training workshop is to enhance the capabilities of organizations to determine the mechanism of writing projects to ensure their access to funding opportunities. The training workshop dealt with basic information the most important of which is designing the logical framework for the project, defining project activities, preparing the project implementation plan, schedule and budget, preparing a monitoring and evaluation plan, and stakeholder analysis, in addition to the project documents to support women’s rights organizations’ access to funding opportunities .
