Training session

The Baghdad Women Association implemented a training session about Mobilizing organizations’ resources for proposal writing. For organizations working on women’s rights in Fallujah / Anbar for three days in June 2023 within the project “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements on the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda in three fragile contexts” in partnership with CARE International in Iraq and with funding support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development. With the participation of 15 representatives of the women’s rights organizations The training course included focused topics such as identifying the main elements for mobilizing the resources of the organizations, donor mapping, the type of donors and local partners, the organizational structure of the organizations, problem analysis and objectives to solve the problem, identifying the elements of writing a project proposal, what are the reporting requirements for donors, and how to reach the donors, the aim of the training is to enhance the ability of organizations to mobilize their resources and improve their ability to write projects and reach out to donors.
