Service providers meeting

Baghdad_Women_Association staff in the Listening and Counseling center in Dohuk implemented service providers meeting within “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People IDPs and women in Host Communities in Iraq” project, funded by the European Union, through the EU Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, the EU ‘Madad’ Fund and implemented by a consortium led by EuroMed Feminist Initiative on 23 January 2020.

The number of attendees of the meeting was 18 representatives from government agencies, international and local organizations, aiming at operating the referral path between government agencies and international and local organizations that provide services to refugee and displaced women and girls and host communities, as the meeting began by introducing Baghdad Women Association and its project implemented within the borders of Semel District as well the referral path form was displayed.

One of the most important outcomes of the meeting was to take full information about the projects implemented by government agencies and organizations that work in the Semel district and its environments, as well as the camps located in its borders and the organizations in which it provides its services and activities to start effective coordination between the association and other organizations
