Schoolgirls get cyber-safety awareness education

Baghdad Women Association Al-Amin Center for Hearing and Guidance organized a cyber-safety awareness workshop for schoolgirls at Al Amal Girls School in Al-Amari area on 21 April 2019. The workshop was held within the framework of an awareness programme targeting students of a number of schools in Baghdad as part of the activities of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girl犀利士 s and Host Communities in Iraq”, supported by the United Nations Women’s Fund and the European Trust Fund (MADAD).
The workshop focused on social and legal issues related to cyber-safety and problems the schoolgirls might encounter online and means of tackling them.
Participants in the workshop came up with a set of recommendations to ensure the online safety of schoolchildren.
