the fourth training workshop on accountability and monitoring mechanisms

Baghdad Women Association implemented the fourth training workshop on accountability and monitoring mechanisms within a series of training workshops to build the capacity of ministerial sector teams in the Kurdistan Regional Government within (Monitoring and Advocacy for the Implementation of Iraqi National Action Plan for UNSCR 1325) funded by Women’s Peace and Humanitarian Fund and the United Nations Women’s Commission on 20-22 January, 2020.
The workshop was attended by 16 participants from the ministries working on the implementation of the National Action Plan for UN Security Council Resolution 1325, as it covered various topics with various training methods such as the presentation via PowerPoint and the group work to come up with a draft of accountability and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the commitment of the central government and the Kurdistan Regional Government in implementing the National Action Plan of UNSCR 1325.
