Computer course for women and girls returning in the Nineveh Plain – QaraQoush
#Baghdad_Women_Association staff in the listening and counseling center in Qaraqoush implemented a computer course for women and girls returning to Nineveh Plain within (Supporting community resilience and empowering women and girls returning to Nineveh Plain, Al- Hamdaniya district) project, funded by the Lutheran World Federation(LWF) on January26, 2020.
The course targeted 15 women and girls and lasted for eight days in which Microsoft office programs were taught such as Word and Excel with practical exercises to gain skills in using computer programs and they were also introduced to PowerPoint program, as well as how to use the Internet in writing emails and creating CVs on Word. In addition, the participants learned how to link computers to printers and the process of copying and printing.
