Cash-for-work training
As part of its continuous efforts to strengthen the Resilience of Syrian women and girls and host community in Iraq, Baghdad Women Association concluded a training activity conducted by its staff of Listening and Counselling Center –at Duhok – Seji on March 20 2019. The training activity targeted the first group of beneficiaries from the cash-for-work project, which benefited 30 Syrian women and girls in Domiz Camp 1/Duhok, through support by UNWOMEN and European Trust Fund “EUMADADFund”.
The training lasted for 10 Days covering many topics that included market management, small enterprises as well as ways to enter the market and integrate into economic activity. The training also included entertaining exercises, information tests with interaction and discussions between the trainer and participants in the training activity. The activity concluded with positive evaluation by the beneficiaries who were awarded certificates of participation in the training course by the Project Manager.
