16 Days of Activism Celebration in Siji Highschool
As a part of the project (Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq) and with the support of UN WOMEN and the European Trust Fund MADAD, the staff of the #Bagdad_Women_Association Center for Listening and Guidance in Dohuk, celebrated the 16-day campaign against violence against women in Siji primary school As a continuation of the awareness carried out by the Association in this project on November 28, 2019.
The number of attendees of the celebration was 80 as it aims to convey a clear message to the future and effective category of society, condemning all types of violence through the participation of girls and boys, in addition to the role of teaching staff to spread these ideas to different generations at all stages to promote a society free of all form violence against Women.
The outputs of the activity were the attendance and participation of a large number of school students in the celebration as well as the expression of their views on the campaign.
