Baghdad Women Association implemented the first follow-up session for a training course to strengthen institutional capacities for organizations working on women’s rights on May 18, 2023, in Anbar/Fallujah.
within the project “Strengthening Women’s Rights Movements on the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Agenda in three fragile contexts” in partnership with CARE International in Iraq and with funding support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development.
With the participation of 8 representatives of the organizations working on women’s rights targeted in the project. The goal of the session was to evaluate the organizations’ performance in relation to their strategic plans. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to present their observations and alternative proposals, with the aim of improving and developing the organizations’ work to effectively address the needs of women in Anbar.
