Legal Awareness Session

#Baghdad_Women_Association staff at Al-Amin Listening  and  Counseling Center conducted a legal awareness session on women’s rights in the legal contract at Al-Mu’tasim Center for Vocational Training in Municipalities as part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women, Girls and Host Communities in Iraq” with the support of the European Trust Fund MADAD UN-Women on 24 September 2019.

The session dealt with the importance of the legal contract and the resulting guarantees for women such as the rights of alimony, inheritance, custody, filiation, and guarantees of the child in obtaining an identity and guaranteeing his right to health and education.

The session also dealt with the negative effects of the legal contract in addition to addressing the mechanism of electronic contract.
