Handcrafts training

Within the framework of the project (Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq), staff of #Baghdad_Women_Association in Listening and Guidance Center – Dohuk implemented a training course on handicrafts and embroidery two days a week for Syrian refugees in Domiz 1 camp with the support of UN Women and the European Trust Fund. Extended “for the date from 3-30 October 2019.

The number of attendees was 12 girls. The goal of the activity was to teach of the girls the handicrafts according to their wishes by the volunteer (Rojeen Ahmed ).

The outputs of the activity were the girls’ knowledge of how bracelets and embroidery work on cloth, which positively affected on them to learn the activities they desire.
