Implementation of (3) awareness workshops for students on electronic blackmail. For both elementary, and high school girls in different areas

The staff of Listening Psychosocial and Legal Counseling center for women and girls in Baghdad. Implemented (3) awareness workshops for students on electronic blackmail. For both elementary, and high school girls in different areas of Baghdad city on (6-12 April 2022), with combining two workshops in one day, targeting (155) female participants. The main aim of the awareness workshops is to promote the project’s goals for ending early marriage. Through encouraging girls to make the best use of social media, including its negative and positive aspects, as well as its’ impact on the society, and to identify electronic blackmail and the protection mechanisms to use when experiencing blackmail, whilst also boosting girls’ confidence in dealing with such incidents, monitoring cases, and providing girls with psychosocial and legal support.
