Conference on Women Against Violence and Extremism – Women for Peace

A representative of #Baghdad_Women_Association (Amna Sadiq) participated in a conference organized by the Iraqi foundationand supported by Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the title “Women against Violence and Extremism – Women for Peace” at the Babylon Hotel on June 23, 2019.

The conference began after welcoming the presence of Mrs.”Rend al-Rahim” President of the Iraqi foundation and a minute of silence to honor those who killed by ISIS, followed by the speech of Dr. Bashir Haddad Deputy Speaker of Parliament on the importance of women’s role in society and the need to become a leader and decision-maker, New service to women to strengthen their position in society.
