2nd training workshop launched under Cash-For-Work programme

The Baghdad Women Association’s Center in Dohuk-Seiji, on 24 March 2019 launched the second training workshop for beneficiaries from the Cash-For-Work programme, which is part of the activities of the Project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and the Host Community in Iraq”, through support by UNWOMEN and the European Trust Fund (MADAD).

The workshop, which will last for 10 days, is benefiting 20 women and girls from the host community in Dohuk. The training began by familiarising the participants with Baghdad Women Association, its Listening and Counselling Center in Dohuk-Seiji as well as the activities of the project.

The training workshop is focusing on upgrading the business skills of the participants with the aim of helping to integrate them in the market and to consequently empower them economically.
