Implementation Sewing Workshop in Qaraqoosh

In continuation of the activities of the project (Strengthening the empowerment and resilience for women and girls of conflict-affected and host communities in Nineveh Plain-Iraq) funded by the World Lutheran Federation, the staff of listening and counseling center in Qaraqoosh of #Baghdad_Women_Association conducted a sewing workshop in the center and 25 women and girls from Nineveh Plain attended the workshops on 10 June 2019 and concluded on 19 June 2019.    &犀利士 nbsp;                             
The workshop was conducted at listening and counseling center in Qaraqoosh with the aim of building the capacity of women to learn a new craft, gain experience, reduce psychological pressure and acquire new friends and cultures. Women and girls helped each other to design clothes.The workshop resulted that each of the participants sew a piece of clothes as a gesture of thanks and proof of how they benefited from the workshop, as well as sewing a number of clothes in different shapes and colors in creative ways, pieces of clothes was presented and a simple celebration was made for the beneficiaries from the workshop to encourage them to develop their skills in this area.
