BWA Concludes Three-Day Training on Women’s Participation in Iraqi Elections

Baghdad Women Association, in partnership with Women Empowerment Organization, successfully concluded a three-day training workshop, held from June 16 to 18, 2025 in Baghdad.

The training focused on the Iraqi electoral law and the role of women as voters, candidates, and political leaders. It also highlighted the crucial role of media and electoral campaigns in supporting women’s participation throughout the electoral process.

This activity was conducted as part of the project “Call to Action Field Implementation– Phase II (CAFI II),” in partnership with CARE DE and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO).
