BWA Conducts Community Dialogue Meetings in Kirkuk to Promote Peaceful Coexistence

In an effort to promote peaceful coexistence and inclusive dialogue, as part of the project “Enhancing Community Resilience to Prevent Violent Extremism”, funded by German Cooperation and implemented by Baghdad Women Association, BWA organized a series of community dialogue meetings in Kirkuk from June 15 to 19, 2025.

These sessions brought together youth, women, civil society actors, community leaders, and local authorities to openly discuss challenges, exchange experiences, and develop locally-driven solutions for building safer and more cohesive communities.

The meetings created a space for mutual understanding and highlighted the power of inclusive dialogue in addressing root causes of tension and strengthening community resilience.
