Baghdad Women Association Joins the Second Regional WPS Forum in Lebanon

Baghdad Women Association participated in the Second Regional Forum on the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda, organized National Commission For Lebanese Women and EuroMed Feminist Initiative. The forum was held in Lebanon on February 3–4, 2026, with the participation of representatives from governments, civil society organizations, international organizations, and donor agencies. The forum discussed states commitments to implementing the Women, Peace and Security agenda, as well as the role of women-led civil society organizations in protection and strengthening resilience. The forum was held within the framework of a regional project entitled: (Strengthening Women’s Civil Society Organizations to Implement the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in Iraq, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine)
