Baghdad Women Association Conducts Awareness Session on Women’s Rights in Fallujah

As part of “Iraqi Women Changemakers” project, Baghdad Women Association held an awareness session on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Public Library in Fallujah, in cooperation with the library administration, which provided the opportunity to host the activity.

The session lasted for two hours and was attended by 27 women from various backgrounds. It addressed the topic of women’s rights and the importance of their civil and political participation, in addition to raising awareness about the dangers of violence against women and girls.

These sessions aim to enhance women’s awareness of their legal rights and empower them to play an active role in building a more just and equal society.

The session concluded with heartfelt thanks to the Fallujah Public Library administration for their kind cooperation and support, as well as for opening doors to future collaboration opportunities.
