Baghdad Women Association Participates in the Annual Conference 2026 on Women, Peace and Security

Baghdad Women Association proudly participated in the Annual Conference 2026, organized by the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Centre project team at The Lotus Flower, in partnership with GIZ through the SPACE Programme, and funded by the German Government. The conference brought together representatives from government institutions, women-led organizations, civil society organizations, international partners, the private sector, and community leaders to celebrate achievements, exchange experiences, and strengthen women’s leadership and collective contributions to peacebuilding and social cohesion. Baghdad Women Association extends its sincere appreciation to The Lotus Flower, GIZ, the SPACE Programme, and the German Government, as well as all organizers and participants, for creating a valuable platform for dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning. Together, we strengthen women’s leadership and build a more peaceful, inclusive, and resilient future.
