Strengthening Access to Social Welfare: BWA Hosts Community Dialogue in Anbar

Baghdad Women Association conducted a community dialogue session in Anbar Governorate on 6 January 2026, titled “Social Protection and Welfare Support.” The session focused on improving access to social welfare programs for vulnerable groups, particularly families of returnees, and discussed challenges related to eligibility criteria, registration procedures, and coordination with relevant authorities. The session brought together civil society representatives, community leaders, government staff, and members of vulnerable families, and concluded with recommendations to simplify procedures and enhance equitable access to social welfare services.
