Baghdad Women Association Provides a training for the Iraqi Ministry of Youth and Sports

Baghdad_Women_Association, in cooperation with the Women Empowerment Department in the Ministry of Youth and Sports, implemented a two-day online training on UNSCR 1325 and the Iraqi National Plan aimed at raising awareness and capacity building of the 100 participants from various ministries and other entities through via Zoom on July 28-29, 2020.

During the workshop, the participants stressed the importance of implementing the Iraqi national plan and activating the political role of Iraqi women, as well as creating continuous cooperation and coordination between civil society organizations and government ministries.
