Baghdad Women Association Conducts Training on Cybersecurity for Staff

As part of its ongoing capacity-building program and commitment to digital safety, the Baghdad Women Association held a training session on October 26, 2025, titled “Protecting Devices and Information from Cyber Threats”. The session was conducted for the Association’s staff within the framework of the Digital Violence Project, supported by the Secdev Foundation.

The training aimed to equip staff members with the knowledge and tools necessary to safeguard their devices and data against growing cyber risks in an era of rapid technological advancement. It also addressed preventive measures and effective responses to cyberattacks.

This initiative reflects the Association’s continued efforts to enhance its team’s digital security skills, contributing to their ability to confront evolving digital threats. Moreover, the session fosters a culture of cybersecurity within the organization, ensuring greater preparedness for potential electronic threats in daily operations.

Baghdad Women Association remains committed to developing protection and support programs for women and girls, while also raising public awareness about digital risks and their negative impact on individuals and communities.
