BWA Holds Second Cohort Meeting for Changemakers in Fallujah

As part of the Iraqi Women Changemakers Project, Baghdad Women Association held the second cohort meeting for women changemakers in Anbar Governorate on 17 June 2026.
The meeting included a review of previous stakeholder engagement meetings and featured a practical simulation exercise designed to strengthen participants’ communication, negotiation, presentation, and advocacy skills. It also provided an opportunity for women changemakers to exchange experiences, discuss challenges, and share lessons learned from their community initiatives.
The cohort meeting aimed to enhance participants’ capacity to engage effectively with local stakeholders and advocate for solutions to community issues. Through interactive discussions and practical exercises, the participants further developed the skills needed to lead community initiatives and build constructive partnerships with local institutions.
This activity is part of BWA’s ongoing efforts to empower women leaders, strengthen their role in addressing community priorities, and promote sustainable, community-driven change across Iraq.
