Workshop on management, establishment of small projects concludes

As part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women, Girls and Host Communities in Iraq”, which is implemented with the support of UN Women and the European “Madad” Trust Fund, Baghdad Women Association organized a training workshop on the management and the establishment of small projects in the period 22-24 April 2019 at the Local Council Hall in Baghdad’s Al Risala District.
The workshop tackled issues related to the launch of projects, entrepreneurship, financial planning, accounting and marketing. 
Participants in the workshop, who constitute the first group of beneficiaries from this program, showed keen interest in the subjects tackled, which they said will benefit them during their upcoming projects.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the participants, who were awarded certificates of participation, presented their projects. A group of participants will start their small businesses which will be followed up by BWA staff.
