Voluntary social awareness session

Within the project “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People IDPs and women in Host Communities in Iraq “Funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, “MADAD Fund” with the support of Euro Med Feminist Initiative (EFI) #Baghdad_Women_Association held a voluntary awareness workshop (the wrong use of the social media) in AL-moutasiam Vocational Center , Baghdad, on 25 November 2019.

The session was attended by (23) women and included topics of the pros and cons of social media sites and how to reduce their negatives and impacts on society in general.

At the end of the session, women were given the opportunity to present their opinions and suggestions , Women have proposed awareness-raising workshops in schools and universities, as well as posters showing the danger of social media abuse.
