Voluntary awareness session
#Baghdad_women_association staff at Al-Nasir center implemented a voluntary awareness session in AL-Qima high school in Baghdad AL-Jadida, Baghdad, about “Ambition and achieving goals” within the project of “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People IDPs and women in Host Communities in Iraq” which is funded by the European Union’s Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, the EU “MADAD Fund” with the support of Euro-Med Feminist Initiative (EFI) on December 5th, 2019.
The session was attended by 23 girls which included how to achieve goals and overcome obstacles to reach them, in addition to carrying out a practical exercise with girls to teach them how to overcome obstacles to achieve the goal.
The staff also gave the girls a space to talk about obstacles they encountered and were able to overcome, in addition to talking about how to write goals and follow up on their implementation to see the achievements they achieved, and at the end the attendees were provided with the hotline numbers of the center.
