VISIT
On 20th February 2019, Baghdad Women Association’s Listening and Counselling Center in Duhok, implemented a meeting with representatives of LWF and also COS. The meeting started with a definition of the staff and then discussing and exchanging opinions on projects and activities that the Association work on and the plans made for the near future which is the sustainability in working with women and girls and providing income for them to depend on themselves and also the talk about the activities of the Center in Duhok such as social and legal awareness sessions and also other projects and activities for the beneficiaries. Everyone was happy with the projects implemented by the center. The guests also attended the awareness sessions and getting acquainted with the beneficiaries and we explained that our priority is to advocate for women to defend their rights and enable them economically, psychologically and legally to live in peace, security and stability.
