Two meetings to build were held confidential and secure complaints mechanism

Two PSS recreational sessions have been implemented, Facilitate local leaders, men and youth to raise, on a quarterly basis, to conduct community awareness on Gender-Based Violence prevention and response and on the importance of reporting Gender-Based Violence incidence, conducting two meetings to build on the existing confidential complaints and feedback mechanism to safely receive and respond to allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) experienced by women, girls, boys and men as well as providing PSS, legal and health care services been provided, constant field visits to the targeting location in Nineveh Plain (Qaraqosh, Bertalla, Kremilsh) and coordinating with services providers to provide needed services to women and girls
The aim of the activities implemented during Jan. 2022 is to increase the awareness of women, girls, men and youth on GBV and increase their self-confidence in order to report on violence they are subjected to, in addition to providing them with the necessary services such as psycho-social, legal and health support as well as activating the community and community leaders to build their capacity on how to responded to GBV cases.
