Baghdad Women Association hosted a training workshop on the Management And Establishment Of Small Enterprises in the period 24th-26th March, 2019 at the Municipal Council Hall in the 9th of Nissan District in Baghdad Governorate.
The workshop, the second of its kind, was held in partnership with UNWOMEN, as part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and the Host Community in Iraq”, funded by the European Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis “MADAD”.
The training activity covered various subjects that included project organization and development entrepreneurship, financial planning, accounting management, marketing and fundraising. The training concluded by awarding certificates of participation to the beneficiaries, from whom a group will be selected by the project team to start implementing their small projects. The progress of these projects will be monitored by the project team. The workshop ended with the Municipal Council of 9th of Nissan District presenting a letter thanking Baghdad Women Association for its efforts exerted to serve residents in the district.
