Training workshop on active citizen starts in Baghdad

The activities of the 3-day training workshop on active citizen, held by the project staff & funded by British Cultural Council, started in Baghdad Women Association on Sunday dated 8th of November 2015.

The workshop, attended by 16 participant young men & women, included many of activities that aim at building their abilities for contributing effectively in raising the fact of women & girls in the society such as showing a short movie on active citizen, expressing their talents & experiences that can be used in implementing the project via the best methods given during the workshop and then the participants divided into work groups to exchange thoughts & opinions.

The workshop concluded with the change that the participants felt, expressing things about themselves, feeling of optimism on the future, desire to join the voluntary work as well as working as a team.
