Training on alternatives to violence AVP

Baghdad Women Association has concluded Cascade training (AVP) within the project “Advancing peace building and reconciliation through the inclusion and empowerment of women and girls in Iraq” With the support of the Lutheran World Federation, which was implemented in BWA Center in Qaraqoush and also in Dohuk/BWA Seji center from 26 to 27 August 2019. The trainings targeted participants from different religious and national backgrounds of women and men, with the aim of training on peace building, society and communication. In addition the facilitators made exercises in order to overcome hatred, In addition, exercises were given on how to overcome hatred it also included exercises to promote confidence among members of the community. In conclusion, the exercises were conducted on how to accept others positively.
