Supporting Democracy And Human Rights In Iraq

In response to the invitation of the Norwegian People’s Aid Organization (NPA) , Baghdad Women Association ,represented by Mrs. Reem Sahib , attended a consultation workshop on 3rd April , 2019 in Baghdad, which was attended by a number of CSOs , Government bodies and Activists. During the workshop many issues were discussed such as the general political situation in Iraq , challenges facing young people , women and local organizations , and the interaction of networks and alliances of civil society, as well as exchanging opinions and views about the current Iraqi political situation , the effectiveness of strengthening the influence of provincial councils, in addition to the mechanisms of distribution of power and resources. The workshop concluded with forming of work groups to provide solutions by programs designed for the purpose of changing the current situation.
