Social and legal awareness workshop

#Baghdad_Women_Association staff in Al-Ameen Center for Listening and Consulting conducted a legal and social awareness session in Al-Nabi Younis Complex in Nahrawan with the support of the European Trust Fund (MADAD) and UN-Women on October 1, 2019.

The session was attended by 17 women and included topics “positive education and proper education methods that parents should follow in raising children, how to motivate children, the principle of reward and punishment, respect for the wishes of children and link them to gender-based violence, in addition to raising awareness about custody and conditions and the reasons for dropping custody and how to recover Ancestry and its conditions and the difference between the claim of proof of descent and the argument of proof of descent in the Iraqi Personal Status Law.
