Sessions carried out during the month of November – Duhok

During the month of November 2021, the project staff of Women, Peace and Security in the Arab states – Phase II, in partnership with the UN Women with the support of the Finland governorate implemented, a legal awareness session on gender-based violence in Dumez 1 refugee camp, with the participation of 7 Refuges women and girls , also, implementing pathway meeting at Dumez 1 camp in presence of 9 representatives of civil society organizations, and 22 women and girls received various services within the referral system to other organizations.

In addition, to implementing the monitoring session with the participation of 29 beneficiaries of cash for work, after the end of the activity, to measure the noticeable impact, and enhance their sustainability in the labor market , also, the implementation of  16 days of activism activity, to against violence  women in Kabarto 1 for IDPs camp at, which is an activity within the global activities to enhance the ability of women to reduce violence with participation 54 IDPs women and girls.

The aim of the project and activities to aware and protect women from gender-based violence, provide psychological, legal and economic support, and facilitate their access to various services.
