Session about GBV for girls and returnees women in Nineveh plain

As continuity of implementing session about Gender Base Violence (GBV) by the staff of #Baghdad_Women_Association in Qaraqush listening and counseling center within the project (Strengthening the empowerment and resilience for women and girls of conflict-affected and host communities in Nineveh Plain, Iraq) that funded by Lutheran world federation , which it targeted 25 women and girls in 05 May 2019, the session starts by explaining about Baghdad women association and the services that we provided by BWA center, The workshop discussed the concept of violence and the tree of the problem, the causes and solutions and the consequences of violence, as well as the explanation of customs and traditions, the society’s acceptance of violence, and the social violence and the differences between gender and sex. The workshop also discussed the concept of power and power which related to violence , the session ended by asking a question and discussion about the session.
