Service providers meeting in Karbala

#Baghdad_Women_Association staff in Karadah organized two referral pathway meetings in Karbala during August 2020, for 18 participants via zoom within the framework of  the project “Strengthening Access to Protection, Participation and Services for women Refugees, Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and women in Host Communities in Iraq”, funded by the European Union, through the EU’s Regional Trust Fund in response to the Syrian crisis, the EU ‘Madad’ Fund and implemented by a consortium led by EuroMed Feminist Initiative.

The most important outcomes were discussing the violence that women are subjected to before and after COVID-19, the services each participant can provide, and the referral pathway system; many participants expressed their willingness to take part in providing all kinds of services to women and girls.
