Survivors affected by all forms of gender-based violence still face difficulties in securing the population income to meet their needs. Within the activities of the Sinjar Center, the economic empowerment activity for the survivors in Sinjar was implemented by distributing grants to 30 survivors to establish small projects for them after training them in managing small projects. The 25 projects that were opened and expanded varied between sewing, clothing stores, shoes, women’s hairdressing, food markets, and others. to provide them with job opportunities in the labor market in Sinjar and empower them economically, in addition to increasing their skills in managing projects.
