Baghdad Women Association implemented many activities in April 2021, at BWA listing Psychosocial and Legal Counseling Center in Duhok / Sajie within the project Providing Support to Women and Girls Affected by Sexual and Gender-Based Violence in Duhok/Sajie village funded by the Lutheran World Federation.

Legal awareness sessions for women and girls in Dumez 1 Refugee Camp, and in Duhok, in coordination with the Women Union Department.

The outputs of the activities are, women and girls with knowledge and awareness of their legal rights, especially those that are in the context of their lives, in order to get rid of violence. In addition, to practicing, demanding their full rights in all cases, as well as sharing this information from their families to continue building a legal base that protects women in society.
