Participation in the consultation meeting

The representative, Bernadit Estifan, from BaghdadWomenAssociation participated in the consultation meeting with the Ministry of Planning and other partners with the attendance of the international and local NGOs at the invitation of UNFPA in Erbil on 22 July 2019. The meeting concluded the achievements and results of the UNFPA programs, mentioned the challenges during the implementation of programs and projects. The future goals and changes were discussed from 2020 to 2024. As well each topic was discussed within four groups, such as GBV and gender equality, Reproductive development, Population development, adolescent and youth programs. In conclusion, all suggestions and ideas were put forward and were presented; each group draft will be taken into consideration within the program of the UNFPA – Iraq.
