Participated in training with UNFPA

Halat Omer representative from #Baghdad_Women_Association participated in training with UNFPA on ” the capacity of mental health and psychosocial support workers on gender-based violence service provision ” from 7 to 11 July 2019.

The week-long workshop was the first of a five-week Programme aiming to train 20 different humanitarian workers each week on the care and support that should be provided to survivors and how to cater their needs.

This training is funded by UN-ACTION & the Spanish Cooperation Agency for International Development (AECID).
