MoLSA, BWA review plans to adopt gender-responsive budgets
| Officials from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs officials and representatives of the #Baghdad_Women_Association met in Baghdad on 12 November 2019 to debate recommendations for the ministry to adopt gender-responsive plans and budgets. According to a BWA statement, the ministry is expected to adopt these recommendations in its future plans. The meeting, the second between MoLSA officials and BWA representatives, was held within the framework of the project “Strengthening the resilience of Syrian women and girls and host communities in Iraq”, which is supported by UN Women and the European Trust Fund “Madad”. |
