Legal awareness session on violence against children

The Listening and Consulting Center in Dohuk – Seiji of #Baghdad_Women_association held a legal awareness session on violence against children on May 26, 2019, attended by 10 girls from Seiji village.

The session was held as part of the activities of the project “Strengthening the resilience of Syrian women and girls and host communities in Iraq”, implemented with the support of #UNWomen and the European Trust Fund (MADAD).

The topics of the session dealt with the concept of violence and its types, in order to raise the level of awareness among girls about violence and how to confront it and its impact on the daily life of girls.

At the end of the session, participants took part in entertaining drawing and painting activity.
