#Baghdad_Women_Association Listening and Consoling Center staff conducted the fourth event in the activity of engaging men in community outreach programs, as part of the project “Strengthening the Resilience of Syrian Women and Girls and Host Communities in Iraq” with the support of UN Women and the European Trust Fund.
The activity included, within Group D, the implementation of a meeting on 9 July 2019 to discuss issues of violence against women and gender equality in the presence of 31 boys and men at the Youth Center in Dohuk , followed on September 12 the implementation of the activity of the fourth group, which was a football match between a number of girls and youth in the presence of representatives of the Center for Youth Duhok .
In order to advocate for gender equality and reject the traditional view of society on the role of women, and awareness of their ability to exercise various roles and activities like men .
