Hairdressing training for women and girls

There are many organizations operating in Sinjar that have livelihood services for women and girls and give women and girls the opportunity to apply and get projects capable of running their own professional business In order to be accepted into these vocational projects, they must have the experience, skill and certification to get the projects and be included within the criteria that should be scored. In response to this and based on the requests of the beneficiaries, the Sinjar Center implemented Hairdressing training for eight consecutive days- 30 beneficiaries from different neighborhoods and villages in Sinjar district. eradicate poverty, achieve gender equality and empower women and girls economically for the benefit of the family. We also find that Sinjar women lack balance in terms of their distribution overall economic sectors and that their presence in other economic sectors (other than agriculture) is almost non-existent.
