Group therapy session for women and girl’s returnee at Nineveh plain
In continuation to the activities of supporting women and girls’ returnees at Nineveh plain, Baghdad Women Association – Listening and Counselling Center at Qaraqush, organized group therapy session that were planned within the project ” Enhancing the strength and resilience of women and girls in conflict-affected communities and host communities in the Nineveh Plain – Iraq” supported by LWF on 18th March 2019 and continued for two days. The session was managed by the social worker of the center which started by setting session rules and ice breaking exercise, then discussing the subject of trust and how to enhance it between the participants, then an exercise which included questions on the subject with a quiet music and the “bag” exercise for the participated women and girls and giving them space to express their feelings and opinions.
