Enhancing the implementation of UNSCR 1325 by Government entities in Iraq

The staff of the Project (Enhancing the implementation of UNSCR 1325 by Government entities in Iraq) of Baghdad Women Association and supported by UN Women on 19-20-21/ July 2016 awareness sessions. The first day was about legal awareness on (marriage contract and its definition, its conditions and procedures in the court, women’s rights at marriage and divorce as mentioned in the Iraqi personal status law for the year 1958). The second day was about Peace building on (Peace building and violence and its types). The third day was about health awareness on (Personal hygiene, health and breast cancer). The session targeted 18 women IDP’s living in Bait Al-Wadi Compound in Al-Adhamiya.
