enhancing GBV response

Baghdad Women Association staff attended (enhancing GBV response) conference that was implemented by Women Empowerment Organization (WEO) in collaboration with Women Empowerment Department at General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and by the support of the British Embassy and UNICEF and the attendance of governmental agencies and NGOs, on 11th January 2017 at Babylon Hotel/ Gilgamesh Hall. The conference concentrated on three main pillars for discussion:

1-Economic and social empowerment.

2- Child marriage.

3- Provided services for GBV survivors.

The attendants were divided into three groups to come up with a report of recommendations for every pillar of the three pillars and determine who is responsible for implementing the activity under a time limit.
